François is a tax lawyer focusing on corporate and estate tax planning, M&A tax matters, and cross-border issues. He advises private corporations, entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses, startups and investors on a broad range of tax and transactional matters. In addition to his legal training in Quebec civil law, he also holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and was called to the Quebec Bar in 2025.
Before joining Noctua Legal’s team, François gained experience in corporate and commercial law, as well as real estate. This multidisciplinary background allows him to approach complex files with a well-rounded perspective and a strong understanding of the broader legal and commercial considerations affecting clients and their businesses.
François is particularly motivated by matters that present unique challenges and enjoys working through complex issues to develop thoughtful and tailored strategies. Known for his pragmatic approach, he places significant value on the human aspect of legal practice and believes that effective legal counsel begins with understanding each client’s objectives, realities, and long-term goals.
In addition to his professional practice, he remains involved in pro bono initiatives, including matters relating to access to justice and animal law.
